Job Summary
Maintains kitchen work areas and restaurant equipment and utensils in clean and orderly condition.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team         Member Handbook, SOP's, and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and     internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Scrapes food from dir
ty dishes and washes them by hand or places them in racks or on conveyor of dish washing machine
> Holds inverted glasses over revolving brushes to clean inside surfaces
> Washes pots, pans and trays
> Puts away dishes in their proper places after washing
> Sweeps and mops kitchen floors
> Washes worktables, walls, refrigerators and meat blocks
> Segregates and removes trash and garbage and places it in designated containers
> Steam cleans or hoses out garbage cans
> Sorts bottles and breaks disposable ones in bottle crushing machine
> Transfers supplies and equipment between storage and work areas
> Loads or unloads trucks picking up or delivering supplies and food, as directed
> Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures and to the MICS
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate           Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
> High school diploma or GED required
> At least 21 years of age

> Working knowledge of the gaming industry and the laws and regulations governing gaming operations
> Prior experience as a steward

Skills Required:
> Strong verbal communications skills
> Customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
> Accurate and detail-oriented

Abilities Required:
> Ability to maintain high confidentiality
> Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
> Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
> Ability to work cooperatively with all departments
> Ability to independently lift up to 50 pound routinely

Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the team member is frequently required to stand; walk; use hand to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk or hear. The team member must occasionally lift and /or move up to 100 pounds. 

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: The noise level in the work environment is usually loud. Will be exposed to electrical and other hazards. Will be exposed to a second-hand smoke-filled environment.
