Job Summary

The Marketing Coordinator plans and executes for all properties; promotions, events, inventory, and hotel needs. Supports all marketing positions, trains other Team Members on the execution of marketing events, promotions, and certain software. On certain occasions will assume Rewards Club Lead responsibilities when a Lead is not available.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team         Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external             and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Plans and executes marketing promotions and/or events on or off property for all Kiowa Casinos Properties
> Trains other marketing Team Members on the execution of promotions, events, and software
> Acts as a Lead for the Rewards Club in the absence of a Rewards Club Lead
> Records, retains and destructs all Marketing materials
> Prepares and disseminates all surveys for Guest and Team Member feedback
> Works closely with outside Advertising Agency on social media campaigns, and on all printed and digital promotional collateral
> Coordinates all promotional orders with merchandise vendors
> Responsible for variable data testing of all casino offers across all properties
> Responsible for data testing all extracts prior to the building of the marketing campaign each month
> Maintaining all digital images on the casino marquee
> Handles incoming and outgoing calls
> Arranges all marketing filing and distribution systems
> Coordinate the implementation of Marketing policies, procedures, and programs
> Handles all clerical work for the Marketing Department
> Receives and delivers all marketing inventory, along with coordinating monthly and biannual inventory
> Distributes promotional materials throughout casino and local area
> Completes and arranges all print orders
> Maintains an annual schedule of special events as directed by the Director of Marketing
> Disseminates information to Executive Management on all special events and promotions and upkeeps current marketing files for these positions
> Disseminates information regarding all upcoming events and promotions to the Team Member population so that they are equipped to address               customer concerns and promote the Kiowa Casinos’ experience
> Promotes positive public and Team Member relations at all times
> Coordinates with all of Marketing to ensure proper execution of events, procedures, etc.
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate           Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others

 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
SPECIFICS REQUIRED:
> High school diploma or GED required 
> At least 21 years of age
> 3 years previous experience in Marketing
> 1 year previous experience in a lead or supervisory position

PREFERRED:
> Knowledge of Kiowa Casinos and tribal gaming regulations and the ability to ensure compliance as appropriate within areas of responsibility
> Experience working with promotions and events
> Website maintenance experience
> Experience in Casino Marketing
Experience in social media advertising and marketing

SKILLS REQUIRED:
> Strong computer skills with experience in Word, MS Office, Excel, Publisher, and Power Point software applications experience with the ability to           demonstrate proficiency 
> Strong organizational skills 
> Strong written communication skills
> Strong verbal
> Guest Service, interpersonal, and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
> Accurate and detail-oriented
> Strong problem solving skills

Physical Demands / Work Environment

PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to communicate using written, oral, and computer methods. Must be able to operate computer equipment for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of 8 hours. Must be able to walk, sit, and stand for long periods of time. Must have a good sense of balance, and be able to bend and kneel. Must be able to push, pull, and grasp objects. May be required to work extended hours and different shifts. Must be able to travel and work in various locations when and where a special meeting, presentations, deadlines, trade shows, community activities, or networking events are held. Must be able lift items weighing up to 50 lbs.

WORKING ENVIROMENT: Office, gaming floor, and convention center environment, to include; flashing lights, frequent loud noises, and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile Guests. High volume, direct public contact.
