Job Summary
The Slot Technician tests function of electronic assemblies, components, and parts according to established procedures. Responsible for the preventive maintenance, repairs and maintenance, and troubleshooting of all slot machines.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa's Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team         Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external             and internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Repairs malfunctioning slot machines and equipment
> Operates electronic test equipment as required to facilitate repairs
> Uses small tools to effect installation and repair of slot machines and other equipment
> Prepares records and reports describing types of repair work and preventative maintenance performed
> Replaces defective components or repairs defective wiring testing
> Cleans slot areas as required
> Adheres to all regulatory, departmental and casino policies and procedures and the casino MICS
> Must adhere to the safety rules and regulations of the Kiowa Casino and of the Slot Operations department
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate           Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others 

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
> At least 21 years of age
> High school diploma or GED required
> 2 years previous slot technician experience or Electronic technology background
> Certificate of completion from a Slot Technical program

> Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency)
> Strong organizational skills
> Strong written communication skills
> Strong verbal communication skills
> Customer service, interpersonal and teamwork skills necessary to maintain quality service delivery
> Accurate and detail-oriented
> Strong problem solving skills

> Ability to maintain high confidentiality
> Ability to independently manage multiple tasks in a professional manner
> Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
> Ability to work cooperatively with all departments
> Ability to manage extensive amounts of paperwork
> Ability to operate most office equipment (computer, fax, copier, etc)
> Ability to independently lift up to 50 pounds routinely

Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: While performing the duties of this position, the team member is required to walk and/or stand for long periods of time. Walking will require a fast pace at times. The team member will be required to bend, stoop, and kneel occasionally. The team member must also be able to lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds.

WORKING ENVIRONMENT: Office, gaming floor and convention center environment including flashing lights, frequent loud noises and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile individuals. High volume direct public contact.
