Job Summary
Responsible for the overall management of the Information Technology Department’s gaming, hospitality, point-of-sale, and other systems that support revenue generating activity.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities
> All Team Members must embrace and deliver Kiowa’s Guest Service Standards to every Guest on every shift, as outlined in Orientation, the Team         Member Handbook, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), and any other related training
> Consistently ensures an exceptional level of service and satisfaction is achieved throughout the property, exceeding the expectations of external and     internal Guests alike in a timely and effective manner
> Provides uniform information to management in the areas of responsibility
> Responsible for maintaining open communication with management and users to resolve problems affecting operations and/or Guest service          
> Maintains security and integrity of assigned computer systems and information                           
> Ensures that assigned server’s operating systems, data, and programs are backed up according to internal controls and industry best practices
> Performs periodic tests to ensure integrity of backups
> Assist in formulating and maintaining disaster recovery plans
> Provide application software skills training when needed
> Oversees computer access and security
> Assist senior management with evaluating and selecting new software program(s)
> Maintains knowledge of applicable computer technology
> Maintains effective vendor relations
> Oversees the upgrade of assigned server’s operating systems and applications as needed
> Responsible for the day to day operation of assigned servers and applications
> Responsible for hiring, retaining, promoting, performance evaluations, training, disciplining, and terminating Team Member with concurrence of the         Department Director, Chief Operating Officer/General Manager, and the Director of Human Resources
> All other duties as assigned
> Must adhere to departmental, organizational, state, and federal safety rules and regulations, applicable processes for safe operation, appropriate           Personal Protective Equipment, in addition to any/all related controls for personal welfare and the safety of others 
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities (KSA)
> At least 21 years of age
> High school diploma or GED
> Bachelors of Science Degree and 2 years of experience supporting gaming systems
> Associates Degree in related field and 4 years of experience supporting gaming systems

> 6 years supporting gaming systems
> 2 years of experience as a lead/supervisor/manager
> Must have Class III gaming experience.
> Must have prior experience with gaming systems, hospitality systems, and POS systems 

> Prior experience with ACSC, LMS, and Infogenesis
> Five or more years' experience working with IBM iSeries
> Experience with operating system upgrades, PTFs, Technology refresh, & Cumulative PTF packages
> Knowledge of license key management
> Operating and monitoring multiple LPAR'S

> Strong computer skills with experience in word processing, databases, and spreadsheets (ability to demonstrate proficiency) 
> Strong project management skills
> Highly organized and ability to adapt quickly to changing priorities
> Excellent written communication skills
> Excellent verbal and interpersonal communication skills
> Accurate and detail-oriented
> Excellent problem solving skills

> Displays leadership qualities and the ability to serve both internal and external Guests
> Must be able to manage departmental budget and control labor and expenses

Physical Demands / Work Environment
PHYSICAL DEMANDS: Must be able to operate computer equipment for extended periods of time. Must be able to stand and sit for extended periods of time. Must be able to push, pull, and grasps objects.

WORKING ENVIROMENT: Office, gaming floor, and convention center environment, to include; flashing lights, frequent loud noises, and cigarette smoke. Extensive computer use. Must be flexible with work schedule. Must be willing to work any hours and/or shift, as assigned, according to business needs. Occasionally must deal with angry or hostile Guests. High volume, direct public contact.
